Job application tracker

I kept losing track of my applications, so I built a board for them.

Scroll

Departure01 / 06

Takes five seconds to add one

Company, role, done. Paste the link if you want it later.

Climb02 / 06

Fourteen tabs is not a system

Mine were spread across tabs, my inbox, and a spreadsheet I stopped updating in March.

Cruise03 / 06

One card per company

Where it stands, what they said, what you owe them next. Nothing left to remember.

The turn04 / 06

Then the rounds start

Recruiter call, take-home, onsite. Each one gets logged so you can reread it before the next.

Approach05 / 06

And then you pick one

Offers and deadlines side by side, instead of six emails you have to go find.

Arrival06 / 06

Welcome to your new job

PHASE RUNWAY

The board

Everything, in one place

Drag cards between stages. Rename the stages to whatever your process actually looks like. Click any card to add notes.

Drop a stage header onto another one if they’re really the same round (an OA and a HireVue, say). Double-click a name to rename it. ⌘K searches everything. Undo lives in the toast.

The flow

Where they all went

Each application is one path, ending wherever it sits today. The number on each bar is how many got that far; a band’s thickness is how many took that step.
